Hosted Tizen and webOS apps
I ship hosted Samsung Tizen and LG webOS applications with native device APIs - production TV apps, without a store release for every product change.
TV app stores are slow on purpose. A playback fix that would be live on the web in an hour can sit in Samsung Seller Office or LG Seller Lounge for weeks. That is a bad loop for an OTT product still running on last year's firmware.
I ship hosted applications on Tizen and webOS: real TV apps, with native device APIs, not a website dropped into a panel. Updates do not wait on a store cycle for every change. The same class of work exists on Vega. TitanOS is in that HTML5 family too.
I am not going to walk through how that is put together. The interesting part for a team hiring this work is the result - production apps on living-room hardware, device APIs included, with a release path that matches the product instead of the vendor queue.
Roku is a different package track. Playback still has to survive the oldest Samsung you claim to support - that is a player problem, not a store problem.
